Aww, well at least you got to keep it! Taking out piercings is kinda sad because you know you went through so much pain to get it/them! Has the infection cleared up yet?
I don't miss my nose ring, I pierced it myself when I was about 16 so it always got infected and I always had to wear those skin-coloured studs for work (which were so pointless). I do miss my lip piercing though, it looked much better with a curved barbell type thing, kinda like this: Alas, it was time to grow up |

You pierced it yourself you crazy beggar! and yes, my tragus is completely settled, it was an un ear related infection i had, which was on my ear skin, so it looked like my tragus was the problem. but i got to keep it i think id miss a facial one more, because its always there. everytime you look in the mirror

That's so good that it cleared up and you got to keep it! Yay. I do like the look of tragus piercings. Yeah after I took out my lip one I did feel different, and looking in the mirror I missed it. Plus now I've got a teeny tiny little scar just below my lower lip... but I think it's fading!

Paloma, what gauge are your ears at? What did you use to stretch?

I'm at 1.6mm just now (14g I think). I only want teeny streches lobes, about 5mm/6mm. Are they called tapers/insertion pins? They look like both ha?

Yup, tapers.
When you go to get ready to stretch up to the next gauge, take your previous earring, soak it in baby oil, then put it in your ear, take it out and put the bigger earring in. Works like a charm and makes it much less painful. |

So put the taper in, soak the earring and then put the earring in? That's pretty clever boaby.
