Well, other than supporting and maintaining the complex ecosystem upon which all life, especially human, is dependent. Food chain is more than just a pretty tree diagram ...

Worms churn the soil, keeping it fertile so that trees can grow. Ants cut back on overgrown rainforests to enable a balance of plants to grow and to make sure no singular aspect becomes over populated. Flies help to break down feces into compost.

I think you're retarded. I don't hunt, but it's not fair of you to tell somebody their actions are wrong when they're trying to survive, or put food on the table for their family. If you don't agree, don't partake, but do'nt bitch about how they lead their lives.
