Coffee and cigarettes

Even though I haven't smoked in almost 8 months I still get the craving everyday. I like what chef Anthony Bourdain says about addiction, "You never really get over one, you just move onto the next one." To add to that, I wouldn't say that I've "quit" smoking, it's more a matter of how long the interval from when I stop to when I start is and if I make it to my deathbed without smoking again, then the only reason why I've officially quit is the obvious handicap of being dead.

I'd have to say beer. I frequently find myself saying "damn dude, I need a ****ing beer".

I'm so glad beer was a choice.

Ah, yes. How could I forget? I'm hopelessly addicted to Parliament Lights. I've cut it down to only smoking when I drink. I've been drinking for a week straight.

Huh, well after having quit for a few years and then just recently starting up again, I unfortunately agree with this. I guess I'll always be a smoker, with some longer or shorter breaks...

Its just a cycle of addiction...

I tried to quit smoking once, but I drink alot and there is nothing more I want after a good brew than a nice cig to balance it out. So If I were to quit anything I think i'd have to give it all up.

I'd also say bud...I smoke massive amounts and if there is ever a time when Im on 'E' then the search begins. I turn into a crazy fiend diggin in the carpet, the car and my nre spot...the keyboard.

You are joking? Oh man that's a shame. I gave up over 2 years ago and don't even give them a second thought.
