ipod question
 

i want to buy an ipod from america ( because it's cheaper ) and i don't know if it will work in europe...i think it will and i need something ( i read it somewhere a while back ) but i don't know if i need a power converter or just a socket adaptor....and what kind...

can anyone help? i tried searching the net but i can't find anything...i need to know soon so i can perhapse order it with the ipod so i don't have to worry if they have it here....( they probably will but worse things have happened )

My work used to sell I-pods imported from the U.S. because they were cheaper and they made more profit from getting them from the UK.

We never had any sent back so I assume you just change the plug.

I own one of these. It's 6GB, but available in 20GB.
It's compatible with windows media player, which means it takes files from there...no fuss.

No video shiz though.
I don't understand why an mp3 player has to have all the stuff to go with it.
It's a bit like camera phones.
Now if they brought out a decent camera with the capability to make phone calls from...I might be interested.

By the way... my player is smart as fuck.

yes and the 20 gb version costs 140 pounds = 270 dollars....ipod=275$ , has 10 more gb aaaaaand....it's way purdier....:D

well i have 20 gigs of muzak right now...that's why i'm buying an ipod , so i don't have to carry all them cd's with me....plus, it's more convenent than a portable cd player...much smaller....

it's still phugly....:D
