1) Doctors are not supposed to talk about another patients info or give another patients info to other doctors unless they have the consent of the patient or in this case the concent of the guardian/parent of the patient 2) is sucks that your parents dont seem to know you that well and would let something like this happen. But alas, you did not come with directions at birth and your parents didn't come with instructions 3) getting started on medication at an early age for problems you don't have could have negative effects on you later in life. The fact that you were prescribed a medication you didn't want or need almost makes me sick. 4) it's scary but experiencing negative/traumatic events such as that of taking medication you don't want has actually helped save lives or keptone less person of the street. Scary but true. So now my question to you is, since the last time you were caught drinking, have you done it again, and if so were you caught? Quote:

And here's my question to you: Did you read the last post I made stating my argument had nothing to do with the alcohol consumption, but more the fact of drug prescription? Even if the medicine is supposed to show a good moral in the end, it wasn't my point.

The point I was trying to make is that even though you didn’t think you need the medication, functioned fine in the world without it, there is a chance it could’ve improved the way you already are. But since the desired effect of the medication wasn’t reached given your answer to the question in my previous post then you are supporting the very reason why I think prescription medications should not always be the first, last, and sometimes only resort in treating a child’s behavior or bad habits. 1) it’s no guarantee that it will help the child (In you case there was no effect at all on your behavior) 2) even if it does work it could lead to problems in the future, that could hinder certain good abilities or behaviors they already possessed.

No. There's nothing wrong with what snickers did. More than half of my school does that. There's no need to put a kid on drugs for something like that.

But i would never prescribe a kid caught using alcohol medication. but if it was a serious problem then I'd definitely recommend therapy and maybe group counseling because alcoholism is a serious disease even if some people don't think of it as one. Although in this particular instance adn this particular situation, I think it could've been avoided if the American society wasn't so adamant on keeping kids in the dark about certain things. The more you tell someone they can't do something the greater the chances are that they will do it.

It was a pretty bad situation so I understand the therapy, but not the medication.
I think you understand so... Have fun with this Rolling Stones cover I put up! http://www.supload.com/listen?s=S0diW8NVXZ_
