You click on the idiot box nowadays and all you see is advertising for diet supplements and ways to live a healthier lifestyles. But let me ask you this: Why would I take health tips from something that made me fat in the first place?

If you ask me it's television that's really let itself go.

because its telling you how to get thin.
so you're told you're fat, then you're told how to fix it.
& tbh, a shizz loada people will believe they're fat on some level, just to varying degrees.
advertisements can be clever. they play on your weaknesses :)
& thanks to the media, practically everyones paranoid about selfimage now.

Exactly. It's all about getting "thin" in the lowest time span possible. It's all about getting THIN, not HEALTHY. That's what everyone wants, whether they claim it's for health purposes or not.
