I thought Mysapce was just for bands.. until I was told about it and then realized it was more then just that.

Clearly you have issues with being abused or raped and need to deal with these issues through a 3rd person such as a social worker.

I personally don't have a myspace as I don't believe in the concept as it is used today but I don't go out and make lame-ass threads about it

I agree to a point there. But sometimes peopel could be different could be harmful, no matter the age. If your going to really get to know someone online, weather you plan to ever meet you should do it over webcam, but only if you take it to heart or are doing it for fun, other then that why waste your time?what if this person lives closer then you think and trys to harm you tho? has anyone ever thought of these things?

Also, you don't have to learn everything about someone before you meet them, I wouldn't go revealing every little secret about myself to anyone online.

I would say its safer if you know as much as possible.

I'd also like to add, people are using the internet at their own risk. They're posting photos of themselves at their own risk, they're giving out their IM/Email addresses at their own risk. They're meeting up with this person at their own risk

This is true.
and by the way Mr. Mod can you clean up the spam in this thread please?
