True Muscle Cars= Greatness

I figured it's time to post something like this because I am a car fanatic. Think back to the era of the true muscle cars. Not the foreign little plastic cars.......they're in a class labeled Hot Wheels. I'm talking about the all amreican muscle. What are some of the greatest ones to ever be produced and driven. I own and am currently rebuilding my baby, a 1979 Z-28 Chevrolet Camaro. That is one of the ultimate hot rods. It can do 130mph stock, which is pretty good considering it's weight. Now, what are some others that would classify as "Great" among the muscle league. I'm pretty sure that the names, Impala, Corvette, Charger, Roadrunner, and yes, even though it had no powere to it........a Ford Mustang will make the list. What are the candidates for top muscle. Have fun thinking of hot rods and no fighting.

Camaro, hands down, only things to come close is a vette, or a superbird

tdoc210 06-13-2006 05:35 PM

doge daytona :) super version of the charger

Juggalo4life88 06-13-2006 05:35 PM

True. Vettes are the big sister to the Camaro. They have more power and have a lighter body. 200mph standard speedometer reading.

tdoc210 06-13-2006 05:49 PM

might as well mention the ford gt

Juggalo4life88 06-13-2006 05:57 PM

yeah, the Ford GT is alright, wouldn't want one myself, but that's just me. I am a loyal GM guy. But it is a good car.

Juggalo4life88 06-13-2006 05:59 PM

Chevy El Camino........ever hear one run? Sweet! And a nice body design.

Reznorslave 06-13-2006 06:02 PM

1965 Shelby

tdoc210 06-13-2006 06:04 PM

Gt would bust the **** out of all those

Juggalo4life88 06-13-2006 06:07 PM

Only on a bad day for GM

tdoc210 06-13-2006 06:19 PM

^ nope it will pwn your goofy ass

Juggalo4life88 06-13-2006 06:25 PM

Ford doesn't understand the concept of power to much, trust me I've seen a good share of the ford muscle lose miserably to other manufacturers. Plymouth, Chevrolet, Pontiac, and Dodge have the biggest muscles ever produced. The car that the Camaro has had trouble with was it's cousin, The Trans Am and Firebird. And Chevy produced the IROC Camaro and beat the Trans am. Ford hasn't had very many steps up on the competition.

Juggalo4life88 06-13-2006 06:31 PM

Chevy Nova is a little muscle with an attitude. Big things come in small packages in this case.

tdoc210 06-13-2006 06:32 PM

^ yeah the gt is till very fast... but still id rather have a chevy anyway...but then again ym hippie wagon is like the best

swim 06-13-2006 06:34 PM

Nothing says awesome like something that rapidly depletes the world of its natural resources...

Juggalo4life88 06-13-2006 06:36 PM

The wagons are sweet rides. I like the Chevy Panel Wagon, it had some power to it.

We're not environmentalists, we're car lovers. (Although, let's face it, most environmentalists are nuts anyway.) They say can't do this, it will change the environment, well, when a bear ****s in the woods, it dirties the air, so what's the difference. Back to the hot rods.

jr. 06-13-2006 07:18 PM

I owned a 73 Monte Carlo. Got about 6 miles to the gallon, but man, I looked good.

Juggalo4life88 06-13-2006 07:23 PM

Monte Carlos rock too. You were lucky, wish I had one.

jr. 06-13-2006 07:25 PM

After I wrecked that, I had a 76 Nova, canary yellow. Looked good in that, as well.

Juggalo4life88 06-13-2006 07:28 PM

Sweet

jr. 06-13-2006 07:55 PM

Now, 25 years later, I own a 98 Nissan Altima and 2005 Kia minivan. LOL.

But, I still look good. In a dad-taking-his-kids-to-the-mall kind of way. LOL.
