He does tend to fall over to easily and when things don't go his way he loses concentration and complains far too much. He's still young and once his confidence is up there will be no stopping him. Possible player of the tournament, if Portugal progress. |

Are you saying Ronaldo has a lack of confidence? If anything, he has too much. Such a ****y, ball-greedy bastard. He thinks he's much better than he actually is-sure, he's a really good player... good crosses, brilliant control of the ball, excellent skill... but he's got to realise he's not the only one on his team. He seems to forget this a lot of the time. He's not good enough to be a one-man team-at least not yet, anyways.

I'm saying his confidence goes when things aren't going his way.
Easily distracted would have been a better discription. He allows his frustration to effect his concentration. His biggest problem is in my opinion, is having too much skill and not knowing what to do with it. Experience will take care of that, remember he's still young. No-one is a one man team, but this player has the ability to pull off a stunning piece of magic from nowhere. I've got him down for scoring the goal of the tournamant...this World Cup could be the making of him yet. |

i was rooting for Australia...i think about half the team is of croatian descent...after the match out reporters talked to the auzzies in croatian...hahaha....so it's basically like the croatian b team...
no way man, we suck, just like Japan and Australia, but maybe we can beat them....:-/ oh, it sucks to be an american today doesn't it? i think it's fascinating that such a wealthy and large country can't put together a decent football team....i wonder how many americans are watching this....not many i would imagine....

I think you're right about C.Ronaldo... he has all the skill but uses it at the most inappropriate times. Too me, he is a ****y, arrogant, goofy twat. I hope he turns out to be a pile of **** and this is a terrible World Cup for him.
And then there's the honest me, who knows deep down that he's a fantastically skilled player. I don't think this is going to be the making of him though. I can't see him being a standout player-he plays for Portugal. They're always total letdowns in the World Cup. |
