I don't follow it at all, really. I watched about 10 minutes of the first half of Trinidad & Tobago vs (I think) Sweden today.

It bugs me how the time keeps going, even after it gets to 45 minutes. Why?

That game was awsome..T&T's odds were 2001-1 and Sweden's were 41-1..How T&T managed to tie with a man short at that...Was amazing..great goalkeeping..(he was the backup goalie as well, The starting goalie got injured in practice)

The Swedes officially suck.
Trinidad was a player short, their offense was kinda iffy, and they left the field tied at zero.

But the goalie for Trinidad rocked. SOme of those blocks were freaking amazing.
I remember it was 79 miinutes adn 24 seconds when he blocked a goal, fell and the goal posts were unguarded and Sweden had an opportunity to score and still didn't. ****ing amazing

I'm rooting for Argentina. The Cote d'Ivoire doesn't stand a chance I don't think.

Jr, they do it because it's tradition really. They let the clock run continuously and just subtract the injury time.
