Sharks and Octopuses. When I was little and when I used to go to the Swimming Pools, I used to keep checking underwater to see if a shark/octopus was under there. Big Octopuses scare the hell out of me though, the ones you see in movies. I think it's because when I used to go to the cinema there used to be this advertisement on before the show started, and it was like all of these things breaking out the screen...and an octopus was one of them. I remember closing my eyes and putting my fingers in my ears because of that. I hated going to the cinemas.

I have a serious fear/phobia of vomitting or someone close doing the same.
I have no idea why, but if I know someones going to chuck, I'll kick a door down to get away.

What's so funny? There's stranger ones than that here.

I think the efforts you'd go to to avoid someone vomitting near you is whats so funny. Well said mate.

having a slug in my mouth, in my ears, in my pants. anywhere on my body.

actually any insect scares the crap outta me. as i walking down a hall i saw a caterpillar next to my foot, trying to jump over it i nearly fell into a wall, and i made this big squeal noise. at school we went to a butterfly enclosure i ran out screaming, my friends found it highly amusing.

Big spiders.

I also have the teeth falling out dream. I hate the idea of becoming horrible disfigured.

I am terrified of death. I have faith in God which is why this is weird. But I always think about what if when we die... it is just the end. Eternal nothingness. Every little feeling we feel we take for granted, it's over. That has literally given me small panic attacks before. But other times, I don't care as much. And I always think about it in the shower, I don't know why.

I don't like being alone. I mean I can be alone in my house if there are other people there. But just being alone bothers me.

Sometimes I'm afraid of being impotent. That's a newly developed one this past year, and I have no idea why.

I'm afraid of random diseases and things that can go wrong in your body.

There is more probably. But those are what I can come up with.

I used to worry about dying, in fact I got to the point where it was beginning to effect my everyday life.
Until I read/or heard this particular saying..."He who fears death, dies a thousand times".

It made sense and now I don't give a flying shit.
After all, what's the point of wasting time, worrying about something you have no control over whatsoever.
