Another one from my days as a church musician.
It was my first BIG performance infront of the whole church, and after setting-up, we'd gone to pray and get some breakfast before the service. Anyways, I'd brought a fairly low music stand for my bass to sit in, and so that there wouldn't be any screeching noises if the cable came out, turned the volume knob right down. Shame I forgot this when I picked my bass up to play at the start of the service. I went THREE songs before realizing that I couldn't hear myself, before looking down and realizing the volume was off. |
