You and I are both ignorant of what Canadian police are like, but I hardly doubt it would be necessary to have a gun, unless the other person has a gun. What ever happened to baseball bats?

i live in canada. there are no guns around for me to refuse to use, not that i would even need one. the vast majority of the guns used in violence here are illegal (where do you think they come from?). ever wonder why gun violence is so prevalent in the US? because its so easy to get a gun (wow, i know). you wouldn't need them for "self-defense" in the first place if they were more restricted.

yea the only reason you would need a gun for "self defense" is if you were involved in organized crime in some way.
