what is thge best film ever made?
 

i was just wondering...what is your favourite film. I haven't seen many, but Picnic on hanging rock has gotta be one of the best. The atmosphere in it is really tense and just gripping. I saw Lord Of The Flies '91 version yesterday and it was amazing. it stuck in my mind all day, but anyway, in your opinion what is the best film you've ever seen? :bowdown:

The film I've seen more often than any other is Ghostbusters. That film is still great to stick on if you have mates over for a while and nothing better to do, but I really enjoy films like The Usual Suspects, Godfather, Shawshank Redemption, Seven, and everyone loves Die Hard, right?

how cool is ghostbusters!!!, yeh man good choice, my favs would have to be one flew over the cuckoos nest, the butterfly effect, lord of the rings trilogy, star wars trilogy and the old superman movies, oh yeh and the goonies!!

i really like all those trilogies, i also lkike 'green mile' and 'a time to kill' they're heaps rad

Grease is my favorite of all time. But I just caught EuroTrip the other day and that gives it a run for its money! Absolutley ball busting hilarious!

Ghostbusters is wicked. When i first saw it I was about 8 and i got really scared. The Ring is scary but i think about a boy is wicked too.

Wild Zero, dawn of the dead, freddy vs. jason, eurotrip, harold and kumar go to whitecastle (just saw the premiere a few days ago), Demons 2, Jason X, Virgin Suicides, Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas, Anout a Boy, Igby Goes down, pirates of the carribean....

i like the great Lebowski,the Blue's brothers and fandango but the movie i've seen more often than any other is the big chill

the big lebowski is an awesome movie, forgot to mention that one. I always think of great movies and then when i'm actually trying to list my faves I can only come up with a few.

i lke Hackers, 8 mile, the green mile, gladiator and saving private ryan..

I saw half of 8 mile on a projector at a festival but got dragged away by my friend to go to the music tent, but what i saw was good.

yea tis a good film i have to say even though eminem is innit :(lol

ooooh yeh, Waynes World 1 & 2 are really cool aswell

oh right, chasing amy, mallrats, and clerks are awesome movies, the green mile too, such a depressing movie though.

i have so many favorites but id have to say my all time favorite (and in my humble opinion one fo the best ever) would have to be WAKING LIFE...it will challenge your mind and how you perceive life in general...ive watched it six times already and each time i get more and mroe out of it...hte Labryinth is a very close second haha
