The weather (at least where i live) is starting to get a lot better. Finally no more cold days, just spring.

Was is pissing down last night for anyone who lives in New Zealand?

It was raining lightly this morning. I wasn't awake during the night though.

It was just cloudly eh!

How is it possible that a topic everyone talks about has disappeared so quickly.

I'm pretty interested in the weather, mainly for photographic purposes :).

It's been -5 degrees celcius (23 fahrenheit) today.
Which is... Well... Cold.
So that's good. I like cold. I can't stand the heat.
And I like the way the world looks in the winter.

Eitherway, whilst the coffee was being made, I went out (barefoot in my t-shirt) into the garden to take some pics.

What's it like overthere?

It's currently -7 degrees Celsius where i am and even though i'm sitting beside a radiator i'm still freezing and my feet are going numb. I think it only got up to about -2 degrees today and we have mostly ground frost and a small bit of snow. More snow is on the way over the next few days so driving should be really fun over the coming week. I might take a few piccys tomorrow.

Eh. It's not bad. We've had highs in the 40s and lows in the 20s, which seems about right. Janurary is the **** month, and then February is when things start to warm up again.

You are relatively close to me so we're probably enjoying (well... I am) the same weather.
It's nice and warm in here. It always is in this room, as it's stuffed with audio equipment and computers.
I've just put a couple of beers in the dormer (not visible from the street, that would be sad ;)). I now have a chilled beer stock next to my studio. Yeah :D.

Current weather in southern New Brunswick? -12 with tons of snow being piled onto us.

Stop talking like that if you don't want me to visit you ;D.

Currently, gray skies, -2 degrees, and there was about 5 cm of snow on Friday and Saturday. And it's been hella windy lately :/

It was somewhere around -15 and -17 today. Dear god it felt cold and depressing to cycle 4km to school after sleeping 2-3h.

The Fins are known here for being depressed, suicidal alcoholics.

Kneedeep snow here and keeps on coming. I love it Winter>Summer.

I've been pretty depressed this fall but I don't drink at all anymore (I'm kinda doing the whole absolutism/straight edge thing). But yeah I would say that it is quite true. I think most of Finns are bunch of drunk hillbilly idiots.
The drinking in here is so ****ed up it makes me angry sometimes.

Is moving not an option?

Pretty much not since my life is here (girlfriend, family friends and I'm studying to become a finnish sign language interpreter) and besides this place has it's good qualities. Just the culture or the lack of it bums me out.

Not much call for Finnish sign language interpreter's outside of Finland...I suppose?

Not really no. But the work market in here is great and there are pretty few male interpreters out there and now theres three in my class which is great. Even if I'd ever move it would be propably to Sweden and it's basically the same there as it is in here. Only alot less of drunk finnish people :D

Anyway, I can't complain about San Diego's weather. Although it pisses me off it doesn't snow.

You have your cold days where everyone bitches and whines.
And then you have your hot days where everyone bitches and whines.
If it rains, I'm happy, but everyone else, you get the point.

there was a dusting of snow on the ground when i woke up thanksgiving morning, i'm beyond psyched for winter to finally come. the annual vermont trip is nearing :tramp: skiing and snowman duffing haha doesn't get much better than that

It's going to be our warmest summer because there is a La Nina over us. I've been to Antarctica it blew all your snow into the weeds.

I can only imagine it would! As much as I love snow though, I think that would just do my head in!

It does look beautiful. I would definitely go for the experience, I reckon. I'm not sure if it's the kind of the place I ever will go to though, there are so many places I would like to go to and never have.

I find that hard to believe, land of the long white cloud! :P
What city are you living in at the moment Vanilla? When I lived in Auckland it was soooo warm and sunny all the time, much warmer than Melbourne, which was weird.
