I spent the morning splitting wood for my parents. The heaviest Maul my dad has was a 6 pounder.

The outside of my steeltoes got dark with sweat.

Autumn... fallen leaves....

...and 9º C (48.2º F) now. It's a "drastic change" here. As always. We say "Madrid, nueve meses de invierno y tres de infierno" ("nine months of winter and three months in Hell").

Put the camera on the street to show you what it looks like here:

It's almost 2AM and a guy in a high visibility jacket was coming towards me. Figured I didn't want him asking what I was doing (I'm really new in the neighbourhood and don't want to be suspicious ) so I went inside before he got anywhere near me
Better pics later. With a bigger tripod and camera, so anyone can see what I'm doing

Sunny and cool today. Pretty typical for November where I live. It's that kind of cool that's perfectly comfortable until you have to handle something metal.

It's so cold here right now. It was raining before and then it turned into flurries. I'm getting the feeling that it's going to be a long winter. Winter in Toronto is horrible - the air is so dry so you get a shock from everything you touch.
