ok, i'm not even sure if the boy is here any more but just the same, anyone else with rudimentary computer knowledge can answer...
so i got a flat rate account right, and i'm downloading tv shows and films. now, i would preffer to watch them on the tv so i wanna burn then on a dvd. today i downloaded nero 7.5.7 and tried to burn the dave chapelle show season one. it has about 4gb of data...and when i put it to burn...after about a minute of "processing data to burn" windows crashed on me. now here are my questions, i have a 2gb CPU, a 40Gb main drive ( plain old ATA ), a 200gb slave ( SATA through a PCI adapter cos my motherboard doesn't support SATA ) and 512mb of ram ( make that 700-and-somethin, i bought an aditional 512mb of good ol DDR ( again, the motherboard doesn't support DDR2 ) in adition to the pre-existing 512 but it's only showin 700-somethin...dunno why )....isn't that quite enough power to burn a DVD? i mean, what kind of a computer do i have to have to burn a DVD, one of them mega-fuckin-computers NASA uses?! i'm assuming some of you are burning DVDs...what configurations do you have? does anyone know why i might be having problems? ( in adition to the windows crashing when i try to burn a DVD, they often freeze when i do multitasking ( yes, men can do it to.....or is it because i'm gay?:-/) which never happened while i was just downloading music and had only one hard drive..... is it that my computer is having difficulties processing so much data ( tv-series and films bittorrent style ) or is the new hard drive connected unnaturally to the motherboard where the problem lies? help me solve this puzzle....do i need a new computer?
