Default My first contact with my Dad

I have to spread this to as many people as I can. I am shocked, amazed, upset, happy and glad all at the same time. This morning I had a dream about my Dad. He handed me a videotape and said "watch this, Bab." I never saw his face because in dreams that you have about those who have passed you are supposed to never be able to see their face. So the tape started playing and it was my Dad holding my 2 year old half brother Marco. I could see my Dad fully this time and my guess is that I could only see him fully because it was being played through a TV. My Dad found a loophole through the system. So Dad said "Hello Bab, we are all okay here." Then he said to my brother to say hello to me and my half brother did. Then he said to my brother "Say I'm out of nappies, I'm in pants now." So my brother repeated what my Dad had told me to say. Then it cut the camera to my step mother and half sister. My step mother said hello then the camera cut back to Dad who told me that he loved me then I woke up.

Now, I was still quite upset about this seen as this has been the first dream I have had about my Dad but I just thought of it as a silly dream. Until my Step Mom rang and I explained it to her. About 2 hours after we had spoke on the phone she text me. She asked me in the text if I knew that my half brother is now indeed going out of nappies and he is using pants. I didn't know this.

So there is no explanation I can give for this. I was skeptical before, I didn't believe in heaven or any of that crap. But now I firmly believe that my Dad is watching over me and the rest of my family.

That's lovely to have had that dream.
It must have been a very surreal experience.

Unfortunately they're not turning out better. It's nice to get some solid facts that my Dad is watching over me, but it doesn't bring him back. And now I suppose I'll get contacted by all my family wanting to know, which I'm glad of because I think it's great news but also it's going to drive them all to tears and shock again.

oh man
dreams are like a blessing, sometimes

they're the only connection i have with my boyfriend for now

and i'm sure they're a sign as long as you give them importance... as in.. if there's something you think you oughta do and this dream could be like an impulse.... you know what i mean

i'm really a dream person

I'm going to sound like a crazy person now but this wasn't a dream-he spoke to me. I won't have a go here but can someone give me an argument against my theory? Can anyone try and tell me that I didn't speak to my Dad and prove that I never?

I'm sorry that your dad passed away. That must be hard for you.
I believe in that kind of thing though, I'm sure he did speak to you.

Whether he actually spoke to you in a dream or not, is I believe, irrelevant.
What is more important, is that you have him in your mind and as long as you do, the memory of your Father lives on.

As far as I'm concerned, you spoke to your Father.
