A few tricks I have come across:

Only do the 4 middle rows unless you get REAAAALLLYYY unlucky, vertical lines give you more chances for combos, but horzontal lines usually combo for longer.

If you try to leave out one ball type, you'll just get an insane mess that might combo once, try to just clear out whatever is the biggest.

You need accuracy over speed. If you screw up more tha twice, you might as well start over, because you prolly won't make over 70-75k.

that sports smash tournament's ****ed, i somehow ended up playing myself and now i've done all that and nobodys qualified, not that i had a hopre in hell of winning but still that's just annoying. someone fix it.

i tried fixing it. then i did. then i played once in the 2nd round, and once i was done it said i had played 3 rounds, that you had advanced past me, and then that you had been eliminated from the finals without even playing a match against no one.

i'm lost on that one.

really? when i load it up it just has a blank space in the finals slot. :S

I get grey eliminated boxes for you moley, while I seem to have been banished altogether from my spot in the semi final

maybe because every time i played a game the score wen't into both boxes and that made it a tie i eliminated myself....
wait, how the hell am i suddenly eliminated!
