'Tom Petty' - The coolest dude on Earth?
I am a really big fan of this guy and his band:
'Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers'. It's such a shame he's now dead. He's written so many good songs, it's unbelievable. I like almost every song on his 'Anthology' album. What do you think of him?

Wow, my first reaction after reading the first post, was to go and check Yahoo News, I couldn't believe that I missed hearing that Tom Petty died. But then I realized, as many of you have....Tom isn't dead.....

Still a cool guy though, with a solid catalouge. I've never seen him before, but he toured this past summer with the Black Crows. I can't imagine how awesome that show was.
What made you think he was dead?

I really like him, this belongs in the Scarred for Life thread because my Mum loves him to pieces. And I got caught up in his coolness many years ago.
