Just found these and despite the cheesy factor and the fact that I am 40 and not a kid anymore I just love them and debating whether to buy them:

Do it! Your age doesn't matter. I wish I could buy this Slayer X-mas sweater but I think they're already all sold.

On topic, I just bought these.

That sweater is genius but I haven't worn a sweater in 20 years so it's not my thing but what a Christmas jumper!

I genuinely do need some new trainers and just found these and really like the look of them:
Buy Converse Mens Star Player Rune Pro Mid Trainers Bluebird/Cyan at MandMDirect.com

Clothing wise I am quite safe and usually stick to Jeans/ T shirt combo in black or white (occasionally Red) but when it comes to trainers I will wear all sorts of colours and designs.

As for the Maiden shoes I am completely torn

I would buy them. Even if you end up being too self-conscious to wear them, they scream Collectors' Item.

That's what I was thinking too. Even at Metal festivals I have never seen anyone with a pair on and I constantly check out peoples footwear for some reason and no I don't have a foot fetish.

Just bought myself a pair of these. I love the colour even though I haven't worn Adidas for years.

Dude, do it. **** anyone who would make fun of you for it. They'd just be secretly jealous that they didn't have a pair of their own anyway. Although, a pair of Witchfinder General shoes would be even better.

Adidas make the smartest trainers imo. I bought some suede Gazelle OG's recently:
