It's been covered many times and in different styles.
My favourite version is the one in the vid and an instrumental version by the Ramsey Lewis Trio.

I asked who sang that before clicking on the vid. I really like the song, but I remember not really digging NS a few years back. I'm thinking maybe I should give it another shot. Most of it is just as danceable right? *unsure*

It's all danceable 60's R&B. It's the criteria for a Northern Soul record. That and being rare.
If it's not danceable, it's not Northern.
