my mom. it's because of her that I'm able to live my life without being afraid of plunging into new things, and without worrying about what other people think. She's the reason I'm able to follow my heart instead of my head. I love that I'm the kind of person who can just go for things full speed ahead, and not look back, and I owe that to her.
plus, and I know you all saw this coming. skiing. It sounds pretty pathetic after talking about my mom and all she's done for me, but it really is true. Aside from being a great stress reliever, and an amazing way to pass the time, skiing has taught me a whole lot aside from that. It's taught me that there's some things worth making sacrifices for, and in large part, it's kept me on track with a lot of my goals. All throughout high school and my first year in college, my friends have been going out drinking every weekend, and yes I'll join in at times, but for the most part, as soon as the season starts, I'm the one saying "nah I gotta get up at 5:45 tomorow to go skiing, i gotta stay in tonight". Now in college, when I see my friends screwing up their lives, failing courses, and basically just throwing it all away, I can't help but be glad that I have something to work towards and some kind of path aside from where I'm gonna go drinking that weekend. on a side note, my skis are finally fixed, so i'm back in the game again

My inspiration is my dad. and for the completely opposite reasons to hobojesus. see my dad is a waste of space. he quit his job with the fire service because it was too difficult, became a removal man then quit that. he now employs men to work for him and takes a percentage of their wages for himself. so his idea of providing for the family is sitting on his arse and letting others work for him. he does nothing to help my mum at all. not only that, he's an alcoholic, the only time he goes out of the house is when he feels like going to the pub, the only time he stops drinking is when he gets a health warning from the doctor..though that doesnt last long. he moans about our lack of money..yet he spends it all on booze.
so my goal in life is to be the complete opposite of a man i have little if any respect for. i want a hard working yet rewarding job which will look after any future family i have...which is why im bothering going to uni to do a 3 year media course! |

gotta be carefull with trusting a female to be your sole source of inspiration cuz if she ever leaves you with your dick in the dirt, youll find you have nothing left to fall back on.
