Alright well, I just recieved a PM from gregb, and it made me decide that, thought it may be difficult, I don't think I'm gonna post round here too much anymore. It went from a normal forum, to Nazi Germany in a single month. Blows my minds. oh well

you dont need to "trust" anyone. the warning system is only a way for the moderators to tell you that if you are being "out of line" (meaning you are constantly spamming/flaming/etc) it is not going unoticed.

the moderators can view everyones warning level and increase it or decrease it when the need be. it until it reaches 100%, none of your posting privaleges are affected. users can view their own warning level, but no one elses.

no ones going to be abusing it or anything, so theres really no reason that you shouldnt trust any of the mods with it. im sure if any of us do abuse it, greg will address it accordingly.

Its one change..seriously just ignore if it annoys you that much.

yeah I actually think it's a good idea. and bungalowbill, maybe you should take some time off of bi*ching and moaning about the new warning system, and threatening to leave and actully take note of something; not one person has even acknowledged that you're *gasp* leaving the forum. No one would be sorry to see you leave at this point. Doesn't that tell you something? Maybe that the little warning sign next to your posts actually has a purpose?
