Relationships are about give and take. You give emotional sponge, they give emotional sponge. You give sexual favours, they give sexual favours. You give signs of love, they give signs of love. If you're expecting to be able to barter for it bit by bit, you're going about it the wrong way. If you're only in it for the ass, don't be a **** about it and say you love them when you know you don't because you'll just come off as a prick. That said, if you have a way that makes you buying them gifts equate to them taking of bra (et al), I fully endorse such actions. But you shouldn't do it from the point of view that your gifts make nudity and favours a requirement. The gifts should be viewed as unconditional (even if they technically aren't).
