Imagine the amount of desperate chicks all having a night on the town tonight who'll happily go home with anyone just to prove to themselves they're not ugly.
Sigh.

I've never had a girlfriend on valentines day. How ironic is that? I DO like Valentines day though-it brings out the kindness in people, even if that kindness does come at a price. The only problem with Valentines day is the different personalities people get when it comes up. Let me explain...
The Panic buyers Those (usually guys) people who forget Valentines day and then rush to the shops at the last minute. They tell their girl/boyfriend they've got a really special present from them, realise all Valentines day stock is low and end up buying their partner a bunch of shit from the Petrol Station. The Lonely Losers Those who stay in on a Valentines day, watching Love Actually and crying into their KFC Family Bucket. The Smart asses Those who recieve Valentines cards every year and just love telling you. The Rookie Smart asses Those who have recieved an unexpected Valentines Day Card and love telling you. The Dumb asses Those who have recieved a Valentines Day card and love telling you. Then they realise you sent it them as a prank. The Denial Victims Those who never recieve Valentines Day cards so they decide it is not themselves at fault, it is the system. The I-don't-give-a-f*ck-screw-the-system people Those who genuinely believe Valentines day is the brainchild of Satan himself, made to empty the wallets of 'lovesick suckers' all over the world The disappointments The people who have a partner but never buy them a Valentines Day card/present. They believe that loving the person is enough. They are wrong. The Lovesick losers Those who always, without fail, buy their partner a Valentines day card. Card shops all over the world rejoice. The Rejected They send out a card every year to a different person, hoping that someone will love them. The Persistent They send out a card every year to the same person, always getting rejected. I think you'll agree that this list is pretty accurate, and you'll find a category to fit you. Lists like these are possibly the reason that I've never had a girlfriend that's lasted til Valentines Day... |

The Mopers The people who mope around on Valentines day but get in spirit anyway hoping that their long lost love will come sweep them off their feet. |

I'm not in that category now although it reminds me of a bad period of time I was in. I don't really think I fit into a category there at the moment. I probably do, it's just I'm to ashamed to admit it subconsciouslly (sp?)
