Linebackers are 220 pound athletes who can run the 40 yard dash in 4.5.

I was talking about offensive lineman to your statement. But if you are telling me Larry Allen isn't an athlete, being overweight and old, than that's dead wrong. If being his age and being able to bench press 225 pounds 43 straight times, as well as run the 40 yard dash in around 5 seconds, etc, then I don't know what an athlete is.

they are playing better now, but if you actually look at the players that the US and Canada have playing on their teams, and if you follow NHL hockey, you would agree that both teams SHOULD be playing better than they are.

hmm...but, a collection of great individuals doesn't neccessarily mean a great team...and hokey is a team sport....i hear that the canadians arrived in torino only a day before or something....and that they don't have much practice together.....

Was US even supposed to medal in hockey? I've always heard that US was pretty inferior to everybody else in the world in hockey.

I don't think the US is going to the medal round. They have a tie and 2 losses. I know they aren't going to the medal round.

i'm actually glad that a country with the strongest and richest league doesn't dominate the sport like in basketball for instance....i'm not even sure the us is the strongest in baseball...i heard puertorico can beat you.....
