Car crash
Hullo
Does anyone have a spare £3,000? The guy who hit me decided he was too special to need to have insurance, so despite it being his fault, I have to pay. Oh, and share your car crashing experiences.

been there 3 times in 3 differant cars, nobody around here has insurance it seems. 1 car was totalled, the other 2 just some minor body damage that i was able to pretty much fix on my own. sue the bastard, or are there no laws about having to have insurance there? here, you can lose your license for driving without insurance. First think a cop will ask you when you get pulled over is, "license, registration, and proof of insurance".

It'll be £3,000 if the wheels have been knocked out of alignment, because I have an electronic steering rack, and they are expensive to replace. If not, then it's a new front wing, new wheel, replace the door, and a respray all down the drivers side. Somewhere between £1100 and £1500. Either way, I won't be taking my hot date out in it any time soon.

anyways i was in an accident roughly 3 years ago. there was this old lady driving the car who pretty much had one foot in the grave as is, just to give you an idea of how old she is. & was goign too fast to make the turn, which was a pretty sharp one, & drifted over into our lane. well, a little more than drifted since we got hit. my sis & i didnt get hurt too bad but my dad screwed up his shoulder pretty bad & it still hurts him to this day. we were supposed to go in for a court hearing or what not since were suing but the old broad went & died so now we dont know what were doing. which is good cuz i dont want that kinda pressure on me.

at least once a month i would get into a minor accdent with my friend... he went through 2 different car's but was a bad driver in the sence he could drive really well if he paid attention.. but hey he just says i'mn bad luck cause it only happened with me in the car.. but i like to think i'm just distracting anyways the worse one was we were parking and there was a big Van there... and his little honda just went right under it... it scared me only because we were looking at each other talking then bang there was the van sitting on top of the hood of his car.. it was funny... but it could have been worse.. they all could have been..lucky him there was only minor body damage... but after so many of them his car looked like crap... so he just got mommy to buy him a honda lud... brat.. !! anyways
just before chirstmas me and my girl friends were going to st.johns for the day.. and well winter time you can't say much for good driving in newfoundland.. so we hit a rainy and misty part and we highdroad planed and almost went off the hightway... it was scary as hell.. the three of us thought we were going to die.. make the worse of it i think there was a bridge right ahead.. we could have went right in the water.. yea thats it.. |

sue him! sue him sue him sue him!
yeah i've only been in one bad accident. My car was read-ended really hard, the entire back end of my parent's SUV was crumpled in about 3 feet, I was pushed over right into the metal barier of a bridge, so my door was crunched in too. If I'd been pushed over to the left a little harder I could have been pushed over the bridge. total damage to my car was over $7000.
