Right now, visual arts, and i LOATHE it. Love art, CAN'T STAND studying it in college. Hopefully i'll be accepted into a 2 year diploma photojournalism program at another college here in calgary. it's a really great program that also gives me 2 years credit at the University of Calgary for the bachelor of communications degree. That combination is REALLY well recognized, and most people get really great jobs right after they graduate from the comunications program. So the plan is, spend 2 years getting my diploma in photojournalism, take a year or 2 off to do the ski bum thing, then get my bachelors in communications, and try for a job writing or taking pictures for a ski magazine.

Hey um jibber, you know that you can bus most places in New Zealand for half the price of air tickets don't you?

Christchurch to Wanaka for example. Half the price. Or even a third.

Or buy a cheap car and sell it again when you leave.

the reason i'm flying is that my dad can get those flights for free. yay air points racked up from rediculous amounts of international business trips.

Originally I didn't want my parents using their points for my flights. but they insisted, told me they had WAY more points than they knew what to do with (my dad flies out of the country pretty much every week, he has a lot), and seeing as how their moving and renovating our new house, they wont have time to take a vacation, so I accepted. Plus, this way I get as much time to travel around the north island freely before I have to be in wanaka for job interviews, if I took a bus that would knock off a lot of time.

^good stuff. although have you thought about what kind of tattoo you're going to get? plus, don't drink too much before you do it, you could end up with something very undesirable.

I'm going to get the Hank Williams III logo on the back of my neck. It is the same as the Black Flag logo but with three bars instead of four, small and subtle and can be covered by a collar.
