Go with the flow.

Stand tall, be staunch, but welcoming and respectful all the same.

If there's one thing i've learned, it's this:

no matter how long you live, no matter how much you see, or how much you experience, you'll never come close to knowing it all. You'll never come close to being able to undertand everything, and in the end, all that matter's is that you've soaked up as much as humanly possible in the short time we're given.

I guess I figured this out from talking to people my age, and people 5, 10, 20 years older than me, and realizing that few of them are any closer to figuring out what's going on than I am, which just makes life all the more exciting.
(oh right, i'm 19)

(i do philosophy). This I think is very vital to living a happy life. My mum has suffered from severe depression for the last 6 years and I've seen what the 'wrong' type of thoughts can do to a person, not just her but the people around me. So yes i think this piece of advice is important.
