I warn you now that you will never own anything in BC, the real estate is astronomical. I personally would love to move to BC but the cost of living is way too high, my cousin was there for four years and told me it was $7.50 for a bag of milk. Everything is marked up beyond belief, at the end of your work week there is nearly nothing left over.

oh I know that, a huge number of my friends live in BC, and they're definitely scraping to make ends meet, with not a whole lot of possessions. Fortunately, that kind of situation will be completely condusive to the kind of life I'm going to have. I'm going to stay in BC for the winter, work, ski, try my hand at freelance writing and photography, and then in the off season, take off to whatever corner of the world catches my eye and travel around for 5 or 6 months at a time. With that kind of life, a lot of possessions would be a liability, not an asset.
