We got a folk album that no one posts in, great.

We have a lounge, where intelligent threads are trumped for spam threads, superb.

Who's ass must I kiss to get a politics forum, you know something to cater to only those who'd like to discover other points of view. Im aware this isn't so far fatched on other boards.

a politics thread would be great.i second that motion. we musnt sit blind while the government sends our children to death and robs our mothers.

that thread is hidden. in fact the last post was made before i joined i think. someone should bump it up and we should vote for a political thread!

we arent going to get any new forums here. at least i highly doubt it.

plus....whatever could be posted in the politics forum can be posted in the lounge here. trying to get an admin to create a new forum...would just get a bunch of people going on about it...and it would be a waste of time. honestly....i agree some changes would be good, but hookers is right. the voting for change thread died....and apparently, seeing as nothing was ever done.......the admin didnt pay all that much attention to it. thrice is never on...and even when he is...i doubt he would do anything about it....and gregb is hardly ever on as well. i think it might be a good idea to vote on something more like a change of admin.

First off before I forget, Hookers; that was in regards to more musical subforums...at least my post was.

As for the rest of your commentery (which was off topic, quit drinking before you post) was about the mods who I hit for not being here all the time. It's not the point of this thread. If you want to address the absentee administration, make your own thread about it.

A rebuttle - There are at least 3 continents represented on these boards, and at least 5 countries. We could stand to learn alot about other types of government and how other poeple live around the world. I think honestly it would enrich the majority of the population around here and you might sound educated if you had intelligent dialouge with people for once. Music's fine, I love music, but lets honestly think about this. What other board on the net would give you a personal account of how a country is running, what people think of your country, and its government and give you a more worldly understanding of the global village.

At least lets vote on it, if it doens't take off or the phantom Mod's don't want to make it I'll create a politics board and you guys can just frequent both. It's not even as if they'd compete becuase they'd be about diffrent things.

yes, a politics forum would be nice, i already have a couple ideas for threads, but sadly big3, 5 people would post there...

first....when did i leave? and second...im not trying necesarily to be negative. all im trying to do is look at these forums by the way that theyve been run for the last few months. (by the admin)

i realize that a lot of the more intellegent posts are drowned out by the game threads in the lounge. the main reason for this being that a lot of the people dont want to take the time to read articles, or are too ingorant to know whats going on in the world around them...and would have nothing to say in these intelegent threads. and it seems to me that that is exactly what would happen if we had a politics forum. it would become a dead forum just like a few of the forums on this board. now i dont know this for a fact of course...its just what i see happening.

1. the last drink i had was half a bottle of a smirnoff ice last night.....hardly enough to keep me buzzed (let alone drunk) until now.
2. i never said anything about adressing the absentee admin, and frankly it doesnt matter to me. youre the one talking about creating a new politics forum. so i plan to make no such thread.

im all for discussion of governments, and knowing how other countries are run. all that is well and good. i would have no problem with that. and its not even that im against it. i would love to find out how croatia is run...or what tony blairs approval rating is. but i think that a large number of the people on this forum would be either too ignorant, or too apathetic to post in a sub-musicbanter forum dedicated to politics. if you have that much faith in it..then pursue it. try your best to get one here. if youre to succeed, i will post in it. ill promise you that.

but honestly, the reason i made the change of admin comment was because with the current ones....i doubt youll get what your out for.
