like i said , you need a range of things to attract people. The music forums should always be the priority but that doesn`t mean you have to ONLY offer them.

Like i`ve said before , what would you prefer in a forum , the same 10/15 people posting in one forum all the time or 1000 people posting occasionally in them?

Actually (hates to switch stances totally) hes right, the lounge is a billion times more active then the music forums. Thats sad, I think the music forums need to be more active then any side forums. It is musicbanter

in my opinion there are more then enough pointless thread started here. but theres very few actual good music threads being started and i think people are getting bored and making pointless threads because there nothing else to do. people are starting to stick to the lounge. probally not because its intersting, more som because there's just more going on there at the moment. the threads started might be pointless but they do added entertainment. just my thoughts

ding ding ding. I just find it rediculous that people think we need more topics completely unrelated to music on a MUSIC forum. Its great if you want to discuss politics, thats why we have the lounge, so we can make threads unrelated to music. If you're complaining about political threads in the lounge getting spammed, what makes you think a political forum wouldn't get spammed just as much?

i think that people who are generally not interested in long debates would not enter it, and it would be just easier for us to cruise through the interesting threads, rather than being lost in a sea of ****ty ones in the lounge....that's all....more of an organisation issue really.....systematisation....

So where are all these great music threads?

I see so few people at least trying to come up with anything original in there.

OK people want to talk about music , so where are you doing it? If you want musical discussion i want more than just 'this band is great check them out'

If a few more people made an effort in there , then why shouldn`t we extend the forum to include other things.

I do want to talk about music , thats why i`m here. But why should that be the only thing I can post about here?
