It is also assumed by this stage you can trust the other person to remain monogomous. If you can't trust your partner 100% then always use a condom. That goes for girls and guys. No glove = no love.

its not some kind of strong sound barrier that nothing can get through, there can be small holes or natural tears and what not. And thats not even taking into account the fact that a lot of females use tampons and that alone can rupture it.
