I used to live with my mom. And my mom doesn't care what I'm doing as long as I'm not arrested, or bring shame to the family name, and getting good grades. She doesn't care
And as long as my dad knows that I'm alive and kickin and not being abused, he really doesn't say anything.

You realize that if you haven't been legally emancipated from them, they could file a runaway report and have you arrested right? And your boyfriend would most likely be under a lot of suspicion.

My dad can't file a runaway report because he signed away his rights to be my parent away to my mom a ton of years ago.
He can file a lawsuit however (and did on one occasion) to have full custody of me when I stopped going to school. But as long as I appear healthy and whatever and I'm happy, he doesn't see any need to call social services or dhs.
And my mom would enevr call the police if i "ran away." She has however kicked me out.
And besides, she likes my bf and doesn't care as long as I'm outta her hair and being a bad influence for my younger brother and sister

The only weird part I find is the age difference.
