Last night was a bit more tame than the rest, but the figure was still present. It started off with us taking a train to St. Louis. The reason for that is unknown, but all I remember hearing behind me was "we're off to St. Louis! we're off to St. Louis!" This then proceeded to more walking around and just general talking and enjoying ourselves. Whenever these dreams occur, it doesn't feel as though there is any form of negativity going on. It's like everything else seizes to exist, and move, and progress, except for those present. I have a love hate relationship with these dreams because I wish they never ended, and when they do, I go through the day wishing it could just start up again. At least I can have the satisfaction of remembering the important parts.

Had yet another last night,
think I had a couple more dreams just before but this is the one I remember; I was at a beach, it was a calm long floral one (really nice) soon after I found myself on a different beach, it was a 'big beach' and insects and other animals not from that region of the world were walking around, making me jump etc I was walking along the sand of the 'big beach' when a Stingray suddenly flew out of the sea right at me, went past me and hit the coastline behind me. (something else had jumped out of the sea just before but I can't remember what that was) I was with some of my family and turned to them to tell them I was going back to the 'calm beach' as the 'big beach' was too much, so I left. I continued walking along the beach where there was a mini harbour leading to lots of medium size boats full of people travelling. On the side along the little wooden bridge people were walking up to the boats on there was the reggae reggae sauce man, his brothers and their food truck where they were singing the theme tune, my sister came rushing past me and we sang along with them. Then I came up to a boat but the one I was on was empty, just me. The rest of the boats were pretty much full and moving along around a long corner back and forth transporting people to and from the 'big beach'. I saw ledges similar the boat ledges in 'Uncharted' (as I've recently been playing them all) along with different people from different nationalities, each boat had one or two Brits on them and being a Brit, I had to jump to the right section of each boat with one of them on. So, I jumped from boat to boat, section to section (in an 'uncharted'esc' style) as a big waterfall passed me by, I was looking at the waterfall when the corner was coming up. I was going around the corner when I saw all the members of the 'Bonzo Dog Doo Dah Band' circa 1967-1969 sat around a table having a laugh, having a sing song, having a drink. They were singing 'Equestrian Statue' in an Elizabethan type manor (as they did alot) and I jumped off of the last boat onto an end part of the wooden bench attached to the table. I was sat off the corner to Vivian Stanshall's right, Neil Innes's left and across from Ruskin Spear and the rest of the gang. I started to sing along with them, drinking a mug of ale and fell halfway back where I was sitting and started doing a Ruskin Spear impression of what he does towards the end of the Equestrian Statue video only instead of a trumpet it was in the form of air guitar. Everyone started laughing at the impression, I seemed to fall off of my seat and then, I woke up. Missing a few small details here and there but that's the general gist

I usually drive off cliffs in my dreams, never jumping. I usually know the cliff/road too.

Woke myself up laughing really hard in my sleep because in my dream I had just read some article (filled with paparazzi photos and all) announcing that Patti Smith and Taylor Swift were dating. In the photos they were wearing matching 70s pantsuits, and you could just barely make out St. Vincent's face in the background scowling at them, indicating that she had been jilted by one of them somehow which made it even more hilarious to me. (The article headline was something Buzzfeed-y like "POWER LESBIAN LOVE TRIANGLE??? OMG!")
(Usually I don't have such mundane dreams, but I don't mind them.) I then went back to sleep briefly and dreamed I was in a small border town in Texas hiding in a ditch because I was worried I was becoming a zombie. |
