Nope, they didn't know.

Does anyone else experience deja vu?

Yes. I've thought a lot about deja vu whenever I have it, and I think it comes down to certain situations being so predictable that you feel like you've experienced them before. Nothing out of the ordinary has ever occurred during my deja vu experiences.

There's my scientifically sound assertion.

I read one theory about deja vu being due to slight delays between different senses so you have experienced it microseconds earlier.

I think you have a point, but if this were true people who experience it you'd think they'd experience it constantly.

I think they mention that theory in The Electric Kool Aid Acid Test. Wolfe talks at great length about sensory delay in it.

Every once in a while I'll get that deja vu feeling, like I could swear I dreamed exactly what I'm seeing the night before. Usually it's a place, and it could easily be explained by me knowing that I was going these the day before. But it's still trippy when it happens.

I often dream of people's death. I wake up feeling remorse but then I get over it.

I dreamed that Batlord was sitting across the table from me eating nachos. But the way he did it was to have a single nacho chip and then pile a bunch of cheese and salsa on top of it. Then he ate the single nacho chip by itself. He was a nice guy in real life, and I realized that all he wanted was a friend.
