I was in a place with corridors and rooms with people sitting and lying there looking at things or sleeping and dreaming. I could see their dreams. I was told that I could be any one of them. At a junction there was a fire burning and a man sitting there, looking at it.
I said that I wanted to be the fire. I was transported to a rocky mountain plateau, where I was simultaneously singing and playing and dancing to absolutely breathtaking, beautiful, ancient music. The dance was being done with a huge but light rock in my hands and I often placed the rock on the ground and, still holding it in my hands, did a handstand and spinned around. The music was a mixture of mongolian/tuvan music and extatic qawwali singing and it was the best thing ever. Now I wish someone really did mix those styles.

Dream music>>>>
I had a dream once where I was in overwhelming awe of a performer who was playing these metal cones on a tray in his lap with slides on all of his fingers making these strange psychedelic electronic soundscapes. It was like a sustained ratting with bending pitches. I still think about it. I'm thinking about it right now. I've jammed in dreams before too and it's fun as ****. A lot of the approach that led to Knuckle in the Mud was influenced by dreams I had when I started ****ing around with keyboards and organs a lot.

Can't wait until VR clones based on your own thoughts and reactions are a common thing. Real clones would be cool but I'd probably have to live with them and goddamn that dude is annoying after a while.

It'd probably just end in a non-stop orgy though.

In the beginning for sure but wait a couple of months, you'll see.

I guess since clones can epigenetically change after a bit (especially with primitive cloning where your mind wouldn't transfer all of your memories), you can guide them towards what you look for in a partner too though. Sounds like a win win. It's a win for the clone if they don't recognize that you're manipulating them, right?
