I had this dream last week where I was looking for a band on MusicBanter using the Search function. The post I found was over five years old. In the dream the forum was a bit of a ghost town.

Omg I just noticed the tags for this thread, how nice!
Especially when it's Animorphs+Buffy crossover fanfiction from 2001 on some ancient Angelfire website. MicShazam, they're out there, (the bestiaries-- illuminated manuscripts, too) you just have to search. There's more and more PDFs floating around online nowadays. I've seen lots of digitized manuscripts available online lately, too. Though I often just visit this site when I'm looking for a specific ridiculous creature. This my current favorite bestiary: https://quod.lib.umich.edu/e/eebo/A1...-Linnean+works It's filled with whimsical gibberish, I love it. And LOTS of questionable information about bees. The title alone is amazing: "The historie of serpents. Or, The second booke of liuing creatures wherein is contained their diuine, naturall, and morall descriptions, with their liuely figures, names, conditions, kindes and natures of all venemous beasts: with their seuerall poysons and antidotes; their deepe hatred to mankind, and the wonderfull worke of God in their creation, and destruction. Necessary and profitable to all sorts of men: collected out of diuine scriptures, fathers, phylosophers, physitians, and poets: amplified with sundry accidentall histories, hierogliphicks, epigrams, emblems, and ænigmaticall obseruations." No images though unfortunately :c |

I had a dream that I wasn’t in. Rick Wakeman was composing a keyboard solo designed to close out a Yes album. It sounded like a mix between We Have Heaven and Vevey. It was a tribute to his girlfriend but she didn’t like the title (I can’t remember it) so he changed it. I could hear the song perfectly in my dream and it was very beautiful.

I love this bit about dolphins: "Dolphins are the swiftest creature in the sea. They can fly over ships that attack them. They follow the sound of human voices, and gather together in crowds to sing at the sound of music. When dolphins play and leap in strong waves they seem to forecast storms. There is a kind of dolphin in the Nile that has a serrated back, which kills crocodiles by cutting into the soft parts of the belly." |

Dream fragments:
-Spooky, thin bald men (they wore small hats on the back of their heads rather than on top) wielding forked wands trying to kill me. When you weren't looking directly at them, they looked like anyone else. I recognized them as the same cultists who strapped me to a spinning wheel on the roof of a tower (to use me as a battery in some Saturn-centric ritual) in one of my other dreams. I adopted a big giant blackish-brown wolf for protection. -I didn't inhabit a body in this dream and was just kind of aimlessly swooping around over the ocean. I came across a small boat filled with several pirate women. They all wore long raggedy dresses and these bracelets/arm circlets that came all the way up to their shoulder, and several necklaces as well. They all had long hair plaited back into a high ponytail. One of them saw me, which startled me; she turned and hid herself under a blanket while telling the others that there was a crow or vulture following her. -An unusually mundane dream in which I was just sitting in a dark room at 4 am eating candy while some unknown person slept near me. There was a desk with two monitors with multiple open bags of food (candy mostly) on the desk leaning against the monitors. I was trying not to wake them up. After I ate the candy I wanted, I cleaned their apartment (in exchange for the candy I guess?) and crawled out the window. Last edited by Chiomara; 01-15-2018 at 04:35 AM. |

Dreamt that I was the lead singer of Hoobastank and I had to frustratingly explain serialism to my manager at Denny's.
