I had a dream where I was in natural landscape that shifted from desert to jungle to plains with zero manmade structures or any other signs of man. There was no one else around, so I was exploring and trying to find someone. After no luck I decided to bathe a river I found because I was covered in mud and filth. I got in the river then bathed for a bit before I noticed that I was hearing breathing that wasn't my own and it was kind of like it was trying to follow my pattern of breathing to not be noticeable. I began to call out "hello, is anyone there? I've been exploring for hours." No response. I tried a few more times and failed, but the area still felt ominous. I began going forward to try to find a human and the landscape shifted to this desert where it had recently rained. I went down the path and got lost in a train of thought for a moment before I noticed that I could hear someone else walking. I looked back and around, but couldn't see anyone walking and the footsteps stopped whenever I looked back. I was a half freaked out and half relieved because someone was clearly following me but it also meant that I was able to accomplish the goal. In dreams I have random and pointless missions that tend to be arbitrary btw, not sure if you guys get that. So I turned back to see if I could find the person that I heard and I saw a set of footprints running parallel to mine about 20 feet away. I walked over to that path and started following it back towards the direction I came from and noticed a figure over on a path close to me. I ran forward a bit to get a better look when it turned around and we made eye contact when I realized it was me. I woke up panting. Weird **** dude.

So I just started to forget that this girl exists again, and as always, she comes back to me in a dream and the cycle starts again. So I made a music to express how I feel.

Lucem, you're right, it's silly to talk about what I would or wouldn't do IRL. Glad you brought it up. Maybe you should write an instrumental about it. I recommend a piano paired with a clarinet. With ambient sounds of you hanging from your shower curtain you ****ing failure.

Art Is Dead. Buy My ****.

Some weird mix of blowing myself, harry potter, and a church event with matt dillahunty that didnt involve atheism. I vaguely remember some sort of ritual being interupted. My dreams are always a weird mix of f*ckery. I want cool dreams like Chio and Frown. Ivwant to wake up feeling like i actually experienced what i was dreaming, not "wtf?"

-Dreamt today about discovering some guy in a cave who had really weird hands and two brains and at first I thought that he developed those adaptations because of the environment. But then I found corpses in the cave with missing brains and it turned out that he ate their brains and they somehow ended up in his skull and his weird hands came from trying to dig himsef out of the cave.

-dreamt yesterday that somehow, through the music of Magma, one could gain access to a weird but beautiful parallel universe. I kept trying to get there, but it only worked partially. Then I got into a discussion with a friend about how he didn't like Magma, because they are too hectic and overloaded with stuff. Then he told me, he liked Cardiacs though. I responded that I loved Cardiacs and wanted to play some but somehow every song I played was a slow ballad. It was really frustrating.

That sounds hellish.

My dreams still haven't returned to normal. Instead (for the past few weeks) I've just been having vivid dreams about talking to people I know (online and in real life). Which is much less exciting than I'm used to. But the conversations are always extremely long and delve into things we don't usually discuss IRL. Sometimes they're online conversations and sometimes they're long handwritten notes passed back and forth throughout the entire dream. In the last one, there were always smaller notes folded within the larger ones. I'd find them in a large open envelope in the top drawer of a dresser beneath a window in an unfamiliar room. Most of these dreams aren't terribly exciting but some will stick with me for the remainder of the day and feel very real, and I'll often remember specific things the other person said for a few hours after waking. So, yeah. Not terribly exciting.

Really nicely worded, you should write poetry based on your dreams if you don't already.

It does seem like a thing I would do, doesn't it? (Not sure if that's a good or bad thing) I don't do poetry much these days, but I do often use various settings or people from my dreams in my spur of the moment micro stories that I write occasionally. I still can't get that dream of my brother out of my head (the one in the starkly lit cul-de-sac surrounded by tall trees) for obvious reasons, so maybe I'll use that one next. Or the abandoned shopping mall aquarium dream.

That's not true, DWV. When you find that place, you'll realize that it was in you all along.

You're a top 5 member though, know that.
