C'mon Big3, all the 'older' members know this board's always had a problem with newbies. The problem is that when one c0cks up, every one else rips their genitles off (myself included), so we only get stuck with argumentative people, and all the nice ones run. Maybe just a bit of manners would be nice, tis all

This is one of the many reasons kashmir got flamed its a forum, we dicuss opinions if someone doesn't like a band and they state it and don't attack people for liking them its fine. Seriously this forum would be stupid if everyone was postive towards a band. Diversity is why i like musicbanter.

What does he have to do with this? I am not saying dont be negative at all. I am just saying that In certain threads, there needs to be self controll.

I said one of the reasons kashmir was hated, was because he expected everyone to be postive in the threads, and self control? Its a forum people can post what they want its stupid to say "no you aren't allowed to say that band sucks even though you've listed reasons" Theirs nothing wrong with it.

They are.

And it's not because a noob joins up and says "Greenday is cool".

We're hostile to that noob because of the 6000 we've endured before hand.

There are the obvious flammers, but on the whole, it is primarily our fault that we don't have the patience to deal with the 6000th noob the way we so nicely dealt with the 1st.

In all honesty I'm happy for someone to like Greenday and post "I like Greenday". But it gets really tedious when that person gets flamed to death by the older members because they've all come to an agreeance that Greenday sucks.

I think we need to realise it's not illegal to like Greenday. Or whatever band.
