Same, I always feel nervous incase a passenger doesn't have a seat belt on or I have a headlight out etc.

police here drive these badboys so there's no chance of evading them

this is the traffic car

and this is a regular car, sometimes traffic.

They may be allright there, but here all they do is write 'easy money' tickets (i.e.: 3 miles to fast, parking tickets etc.) and be unfriendly.
I ****ing hate them. And I have my doubts in advance for anyone who has anything to do with being a cop. They usually are VERY unpleasant people

I see where you're coming from. Cops in Toronto are overall good for the community but they don't have the best reputation anymore: Toronto journalist witnessed

There was also a story last year about a girl who was sexually assaulted at a university here, and a couple of days later they had some cops go there to talk about safety and whatnot, and one of them actually said that if you're a girl and you don't want to be attacked in that way, don't dress "slutty". True story.

I'm not sure what the level of education for cops is there.
But cops here, especially the ones that are regularly on the street, are just plain stupid.
And I'm sorry but I'm not going to let someone who cannot even make a proper sentence tell me what to do...

I think you need a diploma in law enforcement, which is a couple of years at college, and then a certificate from a police academy which is another year, I think. Then you do a sort of internship or apprenticeship where you learn on the job. I'm pretty sure that's how it is here.

here you dont need anything except running 1.5 miles in 12m (males) and 14m for females. A few simple calculations test. An interview before the fitness test an interview after, then a final after tests. Theres no jobs in it here though. NONE at all.
