Now the straight edge scene is just being made of a mockery of, and to be honest i don't think your much better then the straight edge people who preach, if your preaching against them, its pretty much the same thing i mean im okay with them saying their beliefs (christians do) it gets annoying when they shove it down your throats though and not all of them do that.

Whether or not you preach it......either way....it is stupid.

That is ridiculous. Why do you feel the need to give yourself a label like that.
Just dont do the drugs. That should be the end of it. You shouldnt be given a label

EDIT: And....in my opinion, it didnt take mine and franscars last few posts to make a mockery of sXe...

I see no problem with saying your straight edge its life choice type of deal and its similar to dedicating yourself to christianity, or like promising you wont have sex till your married. I think being straight edge is a personal desicion and i don't think people should turn around and make fun of it just because of that, or walk around think they're better because of it. Im fine with labels as long as there isn't any eltism involved.

Here is the point, if some of them think they are better for being sxe, and some of them preach, and some of them kick puppies, etc then why belong to that group? Why not just say "I'm a person who chooses not to do drugs" and be friends with others who don't do drugs. Doesn't that make more sense than making a club out of it?

when sxe begins a crusade and slaughters all the muslims then ill hold it in the same regard as christianity, to compare sxe to a major religion is absurd, its not even cult worthy, its a pittifull catagory to place yourself under, looked down upon by most because its symbolic of nothing and is absolutely pointless, i cant think of one major use for sxe.

It gives the idea that you don't have to do drugs, alcohol and sex to have fun, or live it up. I think it's a positive thing.

but can't you just work all that out for youself and not wear 'x's on your hand like some prat listening to ****ty music and looking down on the pot smokers?
