Hmm...I know ive gone through a couple pairs of Crappy speakers.....so i broke down and bought some good ones...They've lasted me a good while now....also check inside the wire maybe its been cracked and they need to be sottered ( however you spell that )

well i had the same problem happen to me when i had my old crapper. i had a dell so what i did was plug the speakers into some little port in the front. sorry, im not helping much. if i still had a desktop im sure id sound more knowledgable.
