i'm new to this thing, i was wondering , what are the major advantages of using this form of downloading? the only one that comes to mind right now is that you download the entire album in one try, no need to do a search for a particular song. i'm not very clear on how this all works, i downloaded that torrent thing you need and i'm searching for files through isohunt, and downloading them through shareaza....i gotta tell you, it's just as frustrating as searching through shareaza, only shareaza has more results, this engine i'm searching through is supposed to be very good, but it's giving me crappy results, not to mention that there's no point in searching for something a bit more obscure, also , a lot of results it gives me don't work, again, i'm not clear on how this works, but i thought you have to upload files somewhere, doesn't that mean they're always available? obviously not....also, i have a couple of more technical questions, what do the letters F S L mean when he gives me results? what does the Rel. mean? or the age? what the hell is a tracker URL and seeds?

I personally see no advantages. Its what my MOM uses, but I can never find anything I want on there. I tried to download Blood Brothers about three months ago, and they just didnt seem to exist, anywhere. I spose it matters what time of the day you're searching, because you can only download something when the other member is online too, if I remember rightly.. Yeah, I just cant be bothered with it. Im just gonna keep pushing for my parents to let me download something with a decent supply of music on it.

Emule is the answer to all your problems. Well not all of them, but it is the answer to a number of your internet music downloading related problems.

what is up with this "i can't use a file sharing program because my parents wont let me" bullshit? you people that affraid that the feds are gonna getchya? a couple of months ago some kid actually added me on msn and asked if i can download some shit for him and then send it to him through msn.......!!!! i was like "*slaps* get the fuck outta here biatch!" and he actually resented me for it.....!!....anyway, off topic, a beautiful thing happened a couple of days ago, while i was cruisin mx, i hooked up with this chick on msn and she has like 10 thousand files of various music from all over the world and we've been exchanging loads of files ever since.....now that's beautiful.....like a swedish buffet.....sadly, there are not many people willing to do that

Hahah, no, seeing as bittorrent is just the same. Ive just ruined my parents computers with viruses a few times too often, I think, now theyre uber paranoid..

I have been using that set-up for years and have never had a single problem. Spyware Doctor costs a little, but it does an EXCELLENT job, and the choice on there is very large.
