when you see me fist coming at your face do you immediately assume that you arent a complete idiot? because you are..... |
hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha
|
PATROH has a point, it can be a sign of racism. So Snickers and Perfection actually learn what you are talking about.
and PATROH are you talking about combat boots or like hiking boots? I'm assuming combat boots and I would only think that if something about their demeanor gave it away. so yes and no. |
yes combat boots ...
it is a sign of white pride or power and i am very much anti nazi Perfection - seems violent are you a chaos punk or a ftw punk? |

and right about.....................^ I stop agreeing with you. |

But I thought the only people who would actually follow that trend anymore are those damn skinheads who live in England. I wear combat boots everyday but no, I don't have red laces. That whole racist bigot trend thing seems a little old now riseagainst. |
ive never heard of anyone wearing red laces as a sign of racial supremacy. i used to wear red laces on my shoes all the time, when the hell did that become a sign of nazism? i mean sure, ive seen skinheads of plenty, but none of them have ever had red laces on their boots. where do you people hear about these things?

A lot of people are of the opinion that the color of your boot laces is relevant. Supposedly, according to common knowledge, white boot laces and/or suspenders (in Britspeak, "braces", hence the phrase "laces and braces") are worn by white supremacist skinheads. However, in doing research on this topic, I found a skinhead website that polled visitors about this, and something like 80% of respondents were of the opinion that white laces and braces are solely a fashion choice and not indicative of one's opinions on race. Upshot: feel free to wear white laces, but be aware that some people may come to the conclusion that you are a neo-Nazi. Why worry about the color of your laces? Simple, black laces on black boots are nearly invisible, and what's the point of learning boot macrame if no one can see it. Color choices are mostly a matter of personal taste. As discussed above, white laces are a possible choice. White shows up very well on black boots. However, you can also choose colored laces in much the same way you choose hankies, although your options regarding colors are severely limited. But those into watersports can use yellow laces, those into fisting can use red, etc. Use your imagination. i dont hear thiese things ..i lived the seen and have been attacked by nazi on numerous occasions |
good post. i knew you had one in you.
and PATROH, i said that cause you said chaos punk. i think a big WTF is appropriate. |
I remember wandering past a BNP gathering outside a pub once with one of my Asian friends. Nothing happened.

No I don't believe you could condone laces as a racial indication. Too minor a detail. Too much assumption involved. If i wore black socks does show what I think of black people?
Socks speak louder than laces. And the fact is, it's only racist if you think of it like that. Lets say they were considered racist. That means of all the billions of black laces in the world, only black people could wear them. Vice versa for the white laces. And what of white people wearing black dress shoes? On their way to a dance...Oh hang on I better thread my white laces into my black dress shoes. It's ludicrous! If you sink to that level of symbolism in life then life is just a prison with stupidity as the infingement. |
Anyone who's had any sort of exposure to the Neo-Nazi fraternity in Great Britain knows that they haven't evolved far enough to tie their own laces yet anyway.

any one in so cal - go to a punk show at malones , the owners son is a nazi

The adidas Gazelle was a new model in 1968. Originally, they were intended for athletic training. Some writers have sent me E-mail, insisting that the Gazelle was a running shoe because they wore them for track practice; I have been told they were marketed as track training shoes. Of course, what is a gazelle? It's a four-legged animal known for its exceptional speed!
Comparing the Gazelle to adidas track training shoes of the same era (such as the Country and SL-72), the Gazelle simply does not look to my eye like a running shoe. I think they would be better suited for playing tennis. Maybe the thought was that the runners that trained in the Gazelle would go really fast in a pair of competitive running shoes. My high school friend Stephen wore high-top Chucks for track practice, and I remember he went really fast in his running shoes... Later on, the Gazelle became popular for indoor soccer, but the shoe predated the popularity of indoor soccer. In the early 1990s, the Gazelle gained popularity as an all-around general purpose casual sneaker, along with the so-called "Shell Toes" models (Promodel and Superstar). dood what planet are you on? |

I usually just wear shoes with the laces they came with....if people actually look at your laces, they have way too much time on their hands.
