It was not sloppy, it was beautiful, and the story itself made you realize that if something so heavenly could exist on this earth then there must be a God.
Just like The Rescuers.

You are a blasphemer.

, although you must admit, Scott is a fantastic director. I saw it as a really well made war film (full of suspense), the propaganda side of it is another matter entirely.

Then he should film some of the action in the pubs round here.
He could make a 30 minute film of pointless violence with no storyline whatsoever, that will leave the viewer needing post traumatic stress counseling.
The Patriot had the same effect on me as Black Hawk Down...I kept expecting Superman turning up waving the Stars and Stripes.

David, why doest thou hate America so? All they ever wanted to do was make the world a better place...*sheds a tear*

Haha...I don't mate.

Disclaimer: right-track loves America and it's films (the good ones) but reserves the right to bitch about having US patriotism rammed down his throat in such a cheesy way.

Hey, you don't have to stand up and say the pledge of allegiance every morning. Consider yourself lucky.

We did used to have to sing God Save The Queen every morning in school.
Though I doubt they bother these days.
That was bad enough.
This pledge thing...are they expecting a revolution if you don't?
