Meaning: Hockey is worthy of padding. Meaning: Hockey can be rougher than rugby.

Is it just me or were you over excited at vainly picking the non-existant fault.

Besides, I like ice hockey. ESPECIALLY when someone fucks the national anthem up...thrice

I think football is for macho douches on steroids who are too ignorant to suceed in anything except moronic sports because they can't understand a thing in those thick, vacuous skulls of their's.

I just don't like football.

Default on padding

[QUOTE=Merkaba]The only time you should need padding is when you're eather faced with a solid object moving at speeds greater than 50mph/85kph (cricket or hockey etc) or you yourself are moving at great speed (cycling or motorsport etc).

Why you Americans have to hype everything up, "oh padding, that'll make us look like we're playing a deadly game". or "I love the way these shoulder pads feel, mmm they're so silky and smooth mmm". You don't need them, take them away and you've got athletes more designed for high-jump.

The ball is in your possession, also note, at least the brits are game enough to play rugby, they may suck of late, but at least they don't run out onto the field looking like tin-head pansy's when they don't need to.[/

the reason we wear padding is, look what happens when you don't wear padding, check out your rugby players most of them talk in three word vocabularies, ahh, dah, and wah, nuf said.QUOTE]

Alright wee timmy boy here we go. I would rather listen to a man tell it how it is, keeping it concise, than listen to the drama-queens that come onto the field to act like boxers spouting off a wealth of inflated propaganda.
