There's not really a best genre but..if I wasn't gonna get pounced for saying one..

Dance/Techno.

Can't resist the beat, or the fast pace.

I like all the best songs in almost all genre,
I prefer soft rock and blues

my answer should be obvious:

Except i say metalcore.

i think the best genre is rap and hip hop but that's only me and otha people have otha opinions

prog rock. i love music that pushes the bounderies of what can be done with a set of instruments.

i'm crazy about new new wave rock at the mo....but i guess plane ol rock will do....

Metal- but I like prog and classic rock too.

I think it's hard to pick just on genre because they are all so different but if I had to pick I would have to say rock in general.

blues. rock and roll is based on it, and there's good argument to be made that much of today's modern (or pop if you prefer) uses it as well.

for me, blues cures what ails me. i use them that way too. they lift me when i'm down and take me to nirvana when i'm elated. how can you not love that?

I like my rock and metal. Don't mind the blues or classical eather, but definitely the all powerful rock and metal for me.
