download frenzy
i'm bored right now, so i thought i'd make this thread now ( i was planning on waiting a bit ), in a few days i'll be getting my shit slow ( 364kb/s) but the cheapest one i can afford dsl connection and the provider is going to give me 2 months of free traffic, so i thought i'd fuck them over ( yeah, right, they're getting screwd) and go on a download frenzy, download all albums i never bothered to, all the artists i've heard about but never bothered to check them out ( the classic cult bands ), so what i'm asking you to do is suggest a band and album ( please state the year it was produced and your favourite track so i don't waste my time downloading utter crap ) and here's a list of bands/albums i already own that will help you maybe determine what my taste is ( and prevent you from suggesting stuff i already have ):
rage against the machine - all of them at the drive in - relationship of command and in casino out 50 cent - get rich or die trying ( oh shut up!) aqueduct - i sold gold bloc party - silent alarm bob marley - most of them cesaria evora - the best of clor - clor coldplay - all of them cream - disraeli gears ( don't like it ) creed - all of them foo fighters -in your honor ( meh, it's pretty weak ) franz ferdinand - both gang of four - entertainment hot hot heat - both ( i'm not counting the first one ) interpol - both jamiroqui - a funk odyssey jon spencer blues explosion - plastic fang kings of leon - both lcd soundsystem limp bizkit - 1st and 2nd lynyrd skynyrd - one more for the road mando diao - both ( don't like it ) mariza - last two mc5 - high time mott the hopple - the ballad of mott ( hate it, friend made me copy it ) my chemical romance . 3 cheers for revenge neil young - on the beach, harvest,after the gold rush nirvana - unplugged, nevermind ( used to have them all on tape, will get them on cd one day) outkast - speakerboxxx/the love below pearl jam -live in berlin,yield, ten, live on two legs putumayo presents -brazilian groove queens of the stone age - songs for the deaf, lullabyes to paralize ryan adams and the cardinals - cold roses, heartbraker, gold stone temple pilots - core the arcade fire - funeral the band - jericho ( hate it ) the black keys - the last two the bravery the chemical brothers - push the button the faint -all 3 the greatful dead - rockin the rhein ( actually haven't listened to it yet ) the hellacopters - rock and roll is dead the jayhawks - rainy day music,tommorow the green grass,sound of flies ( meh ) the killers - hot fuss the rakes - capture/release the von bondies - both the white stripes - elephant, white blood cells tom vek -we have sound keane travis - all of them green day - dookie ( nostalgia, it actually ain't that great ) the doors - all of them janis joplin - the best of jimi hendirx - south saturn delta led zeppelin - II, III, in through the out door, unnamed ( haven't listened to them in years ) aretha franklin - the best of this is what i've got on my download list so far: system of a down beastie boys ( need help on that one, which albums should i download?) velvet underground ( also ?) janes addiction - ritual de lo habitual ( anything else?) the pixies - all the motherfuckers, i wanna hear what everyone's ramblin about radiohead - kid a, ok computer ( good choices?) a tribe called quest ( which one?) de la soul ( the same ) asian dub foundation moloco beck black eyed peas ( i like the last one ) ryan adams ( jacksonville city nights ) louis XIV jamiroqui -all of them cept for one i have and canned heat queens of the stone age - the first 2 miles davis - bitches heat is the name i heard satchmo mention? the mars volta nina simone any help would be much appreciated, i like everything cept for punk and metal

some good rap/hip hop would be nice, i'm completely ignorant of the scene ( no gangsta rap of course, cept for maybe B.I.G , i quite like that "i'm goin goin, back back, to cali cali" song)
